The CNMV publishes insider filings as PDF documents through its Comunicaciones portal. Each filing is a MAR Article 19 notification form in Spanish. We handle the pagination, PDF parsing, company name extraction, and normalization — including converting the ALL CAPS names that CNMV PDFs love into properly formatted text. It's not glamorous work, but it means you get clean, readable data.
We monitor the CNMV portal daily, downloading every new PDF filing and extracting transaction details using automated parsing. Company names come from inside the PDF (not the listing page, which often has garbled text), and we normalize ALL CAPS Spanish names into proper Title Case while respecting particles like 'de', 'del', and 'la'.
Spain's IBEX 35 includes major players in banking, energy, telecoms, and infrastructure — industries where insider buying can signal turning points, especially given the cyclical nature of the Spanish economy.
