Spanish insider data is some of the hardest to get in Europe — the CNMV publishes every disclosure as an individual PDF document, making it impossible to monitor at scale without automation. We solve that. Spain's IBEX 35 includes major players in banking, energy, telecoms, and infrastructure, and Spanish companies with Latin American exposure make insider signals here particularly interesting for investors with a global perspective.
The CNMV publishes insider filings as PDFs through its Comunicaciones portal. Each filing is a MAR Article 19 notification form in Spanish. We handle pagination, PDF parsing, company name extraction, and normalization — including ALL CAPS name conversion.
We monitor the CNMV portal daily, downloading every new PDF filing and extracting transaction details. Company names come from inside the PDF, and we normalize ALL CAPS Spanish names into proper Title Case while respecting particles like 'de', 'del', and 'la'.
